The Maple Leafs have also secured their spot in the playoffs.

In other news, the Panthers gave general manager Bill Zito a multi-year extension and promoted him to President, Hockey Operations.
Since Zito's hiring in 2020, the Panthers have made the playoffs in all four seasons of his tenure.
